The General Lee is one of the most famous cars of all time, right up there with Herbie and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and fans of The Dukes of Hazzard loved nothing better than to see the General take to the air, horn blaring out the familiar ‘Dixie’ tune, to frustrate Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
