Character’s H.M. Armed Forces range has two new recruits. First up is the Royal Air Force Regiment Gunner, kitted out for desert operations. He has a removable helmet and body armour and is carrying the General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG).

Nicknamed ‘Rock Apes’ (which doesn’t sound very complimentary) Regiment Gunners protect airstrips around the world, allowing RAF planes and personnel to operate in safety. The Regiment Gunner is priced around £12.99.

Joining the Gunner is the Royal Marines Commando Sniper (around £14.99), who not only has an L115 A3 sniper rifle with telescopic sight, he also has the new ‘Hawk Eyes’ function, which enables him to scan the horizon in search of targets. Detailed desert camouflage completes his mission gear.

Each of the new 10in. soldiers is suitable for ages five and up.
