2010 preview: Jumbo

Jumbo Games enjoyed a successful 2009, and the puzzle and games specialist has lots of fun in store for the coming year.

The Peppa Pig range will see the addition of the Muddy Puddles Game, in which characters from the show try to avoid the puddles as they race home from school.

Horrid Henry will appear in puzzles and games, including a 100-piece Discovery Puzzle, while a range of Gormiti puzzles will tap into the growing appeal of this collectible brand. The puzzles will be headlined by a 100-piece set complete with stickers, while playing cards and an ‘action-based’ game are both due later in the year.

England’s march to certain glory at the World Cup will be accompanied by the launch of puzzles and games featuring some of England’s top players and for those who aren’t interested in such things, a 50th anniversary Coronation Street puzzle should pass the time. The puzzle will be made up of 50 images – one from each year of the show.

There will also be a limited edition Coronation Street Wasgij puzzle, in which you have to try to work out what caused the scene in the puzzle, and a new Wasgij Spin and Shout Game.
