Schleich goes large
Schleich has added to its range of enormous prehistoric creatures with three new Replicasaurus models sure to appeal to collectors and children alike.
The series is renowned for its authenticity, with each model created in consultation with the Natural History Museum of the Humboldt University in Berlin. Each giant replica is in 1:40 scale and comes with a human figurine to put them into perspective (and to be chased around by the dinosaurs, of course).
The new additions include an Apatosaurus, which is a truly remarkable 51.4cm long and is priced around £20.90.
Pat (as he’s known to his friends) is joined by Quetzalcoatlus, a pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, measuring 32.3cm long and priced around £8.60, and Saichania (which is Chinese for ‘beautiful’ – well, they do say beauty is in the eye of the beholder), who is also priced around £8.60 and measures 20.3cm in length.
