Horse of a different colour

Star Willow Stables is the kind of imaginary world that horse-mad little girls probably dream about. The new line from Manhattan Toy includes three sparkling horses and accessory sets to help take care of them.

Each of the fantasy-themed plush horses is priced around £22.99 and has a unique look, plus a personality and special skill attributed to them. Brynn Rae Trail Horse is pictured on the left and has twinkling embroidered eye-makeup. Leah May Show Horse is in the middle, sporting a striking auburn mane with pink streaks (who said redheads can’t wear pink!), and as her name suggests, she loves strutting her stuff. Ellie Ann English Horse is the one on the right, with a pale English complexion and glittering black hooves.

Children aged three upwards can style the long silky manes and tails of the horses with the hairbrush provided, plus accessories from the Grooming Set, while the Feeding Set includes food for the hungry horses, including hay, fruits and vegetables and a feedbag.

Each horse comes with a distinct saddle-blanket, and this can be added to with the felt and ribbon saddles and bridles in the Saddle Set. All three fabric accessory sets are available for around £9.50 each.
