Roborover is the latest robot from WowWee – and he’s an adventurous little fellow, at least when he’s got to know you.

Roborover is controlled using a remote control handset, and he gets bolder the more you play with him. His chunky tracks can negotiate a 15-degree incline and climb over obstacles up to 2.5cm in height. He’s also clever enough to detect and avoid objects in his way if they’re too tricky for him to go over.

There’s a ‘follow me’ homing function that will have Roborover trundling after you while you carry the remote, and he can also play games, including Swamp and Tomb. A built-in headlight means the fun doesn’t have to stop when the lights go out and he can speak as well.

With poseable head, arms and waist, Roborover is priced around £54.99 and is aimed at kids of six years and up.
