Grandpa in My Pocket toys
Grandpa in My Pocket, the hit CBeebies TV show, will soon be the inspiration for a line of toys following the appointment of Brandzoo Licensing Limited as the programme’s licensing agent for the UK.
Toys, books and clothing are among the obvious potential products, with a target age range of four and up mirroring that of the TV show. The first licensing agreements are expected to be announced soon, with early products expected to be showcased at Toy Fair and Spring Fair 2010.
Grandpa in My Pocket, from Adastra Creative, follows the adventures of Jason and his grandpa (played by James Bolam), who can shrink to diminutive size when he puts his ‘shrinking cap’ on.
“It’s genuinely exciting to be developing a campaign for a wildly popular television show that has a strong identity even before it reaches retail,” commented Brandzoo’s Jenny Johnstone. “We’re now looking forward to working with Adastra on the creation of products across a number of categories that we are sure will do justice to the success and style of this wonderful family brand.”

When can we purchase a Grandpa in my pocket for our 4year old grandson, who loves to watch the show?
