LEGO Agents are back on the case
Remember the LEGO Agents? We first told you about their adventures with Dr. Inferno last year. Well, guess what? The Doctor is in once more, and the Agents have a new series of adventures waiting for them.
The Aerial Defense Unit is ready to swoop into action with three Agents on board. Agents Chase, Charge and Swift will have to be at the top of their game as Magma Commander is unleashing his Magma Drones (three of them – he must be serious) on the city.
The Agent Chopper (43.2cm long when constructed) will carry the Agents into action to destroy Magma Commander’s satellite broadcaster. The chopper has zip lines and working rotor blades and is packed with computers and gadgets. The set is priced around £41 and is made up of 733 pieces.
Tired of losing, Dr. Inferno has gone completely off the rails and built a giant robot that has a crushing claw and an arm that’s on fire. Controlled by Dr. Inferno himself (cackling insanely, no doubt), this robot needs to be stopped.
Agents Trace and Chase are out to do just that, with a Super Jet armed with flick-firing missiles and harpoon-equipped Quad Bike.
Three tourists are caught up in the action, so you’ll have to watch out for collateral damage. With six minifigures and a total of 414 pieces, the Robo Attack set is priced around £31.
Just as everyone was getting familiar with Dr. Inferno, a new baddie turns up on the scene. Dr. D. Zaster is out to coat the city in sticky slime from his Slime Chopper. Agent Chase has a four-wheeled truck to foil this plan. The truck has suspension, four big wheels and loads of gadgets – but our money would still be on the helicopter. The 4-Wheeling Pursuit set is priced around £21 and has 320 pieces.
The River Heist set has yet more baddies, with Dollar Bill and Dyna-Mite trying to escape on a Super Airboat after making an unauthorised withdrawal from the City Bank. Agent Fuse is in hot pursuit on his Waterjet, which has a pair of flick-firing missiles. With 203 pieces, the set is priced around £15.65.
An old favourite from the original sets makes a reappearance in Gold Tooth’s Getaway. It should really be called Gold Tooth’s Getaway Attempt, because Agent Swipe looks determined to catch up on his Supertrike and recover that stolen gold statue. The set, priced around £8.80, has 68 pieces.
That’s enough to keep the agents busy for now, but we wouldn’t bet against more adventures in the future…
