Play house, with Playmobil

The new Suburban House, from Playmobil, offers stylish accommodation over two floors, with planning permission for extensive improvements and additions.

The main house (priced around £99.99) is 48 cm high and features a small lawned area, patio set and grill and a family of four (plus dog). The working doorbell requires a pair of AAA batteries and there’s also an extendable sunshade and opening windows.

At the rear of the house you can gain access to the four rooms, and furnish them using the additional sets.

The Sun Room (around £24.99) is a comfortable conservatory that adds extra living space as well as an extended garden area with vegetable patch, plant holes and a swing. Three more figures and a wealth of plants and furniture are included.

Inside, the Kitchen with Dinette Set (around £19.99) includes everything to feed that growing family, including cooker, sink, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and food items. There’s also a dishwasher for clearing up afterwards and another Playmobil figure.

The Living Room, Master Bedroom and Children’s Room (all around £14.99) and Baby Room (around £9.99) add many of life’s little essentials, such as a TV, hi-fi, comfy beds, desk, toys, cot and high chair, as well as yet more figures to fill the house.

Finally, the Backyard, Family Bathroom, Laundry Room and Home Office can all be added for around £9.99 each, allowing you to lay out your Suburban House however you like.

The Backyard includes a pair of nifty looking bikes and a lawnmower, the Bathroom has a shower cubicle, loo and wash basin, the Laundry Room has a washing machine, vacuum cleaner and ironing table and the Home Office has a PC, filing cabinet and shelving unit. Figures are included with all these sets as well, so the Suburban House could certainly get a bit busy.

The Suburban House range is suitable for ages four and up.
