Learning Resources sends us packing
The holiday season is almost upon us and soon it will be time to head off for sunnier climes – but who would have guessed that packing suitcases could be part of the fun? Learning Resources’ new Sorting Suitcase game sets out to prove that it can be, at least for children from the age of four.
This suitcase (which measures 27.5cm long) comes with a big selection of clothes – socks, shirts, shoes and shorts – in various colours and patterns. Activity cards ask players to find clothes with certain attributes and pack them into the suitcase (they may, for instance, have to find all the red and orange socks).
Colour- and pattern-recognition are worked on, along with clothing vocabulary, and the game is priced around £18.30.
