A defining moment from Learning Resources

In Science Diction, the new game from Learning Resources, the aim is to guess science words that are being acted out, defined or drawn by other players.

A total of 120 colour-coded cards present words in three categories – Life, Physical Science, and Earth and Space. Each card includes a definition, a hint and a drawing to copy. There are also blank cards for adding your own words.

Players spin the spinner to see if they need to read out the definition, act out the word, or put their art skills to the test – and a timer is on hand to add to the tension!

With write-and-wipe boards for drawing, wet erase marker pens, a score pad and activity guide, Science Diction is for ages eight and up and is priced around £21.80.
