G.I Joe action figures from Hasbro

The upcoming G.I. Joe movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, will reach UK cinema screens on August 14. Hot on its heels will be a range of action figures and vehicles from Hasbro.

G.I. Joe was originally launched by Hasbro in 1964 and spawned TV episodes, comics and a huge selection of action figures and other toys. Now the legend will return in a range of 3.75in. action figures including characters like Baroness, Snake Eyes (pictured) and Storm Shadow. The figures will come with projectile launchers and other accessories.

A Movie Vehicles line will see an array of transportation from the film available, each coming with an action figure. We can only hope the range will expand to include some of the goodies lined up for American fans, which includes 12in. Ninja figures, 12in. Character figures, role-play sets and “Movie Tough Trooper” figures with light effects, fighting sounds and slashing arm action.
