Legendary Ferrari roars into life
The unmistakeable lines of the Ferrari 250 GTO have been lovingly captured by Scalextric in the company’s latest release.
‘Gran Turismo Omologato’ translates into ‘sanctioned for racing’, and that was certainly the case with this magnificent car, which was specifically designed to take on the Jaguar E-Type. It won the World Manufacturer’s Championship three years in a row, in 1962, 1963, and 1964.
The Scalextric model has working lights front and rear, a high level of interior detail and quick-change braid plates. In the No. 42 of driver Mike Parkes, the car is priced around £40.
