Lil’ Patter Pup is the latest addition to Hasbro’s FurReal Friends range. He can walk and wag his tail and, if you show him his bone, he’ll sniff it and make eating noises.

Patter Pup can respond to your touch, walking and barking when you stroke him, making him the next best thing to a real dog.

The toughest decision will be which breed to go for – the Pomeranian (pictured) or the Shih Tzu. Each pup is priced around £29.99, for children aged four and up.
