Ravensburger has re-released two of its classic board games following requests from the public. Snail’s Pace Race and Enchanted Forest are back in the shops, championing Ravensburger’s reputation for construction quality and playability.

Snail’s Pace Race is described as an “ideal first game”, with simple rules, solid wooden playing pieces and no need for any reading or number skills. Youngsters aged three and up can get the hang of taking turns, throwing dice and moving pieces.

The coloured dice determine which snails move on each turn – and as it’s the snails that are racing and not the children, nobody has to get upset about losing. For 2–6 players, Snail’s Pace Race is priced around £9.99.

Enchanted Forest sees 2–6 players aged six and older search for fairytale treasure in a magical forest. Look for items including Cinderella’s slipper and Sleeping Beauty’s spindle under the fir trees – and you’ll need to remember where everything is because the King of the Castle could ask you at any time.

The first player to find three treasures on the King’s wish-list wins the game. Enchanted Forest is priced around £12.99.
