Bolt from the blue

Disney’s latest animated movie brings the loveable character of Bolt to our screens, featuring the canine star of a TV show whose real life is turned upside down when he is accidentally shipped from Hollywood to New York.

As always with new kids’ films, Bolt is sure to lead to demands for toys, so it’s a good job Flair is on the case.

Bolt himself takes centre stage with the two headlining items in the range, the Superhero Bolt and Talking Bolt plushes, both for children of three and up.

Superhero Bolt (main picture, around £22.99) has flashing green “laser” eyes, super leaping action, an ultra sonic bark and (like all good doggies) a wagging tail.

Talking Bolt is a 30cm cuddly toy who just loves to be hugged. Give him a squeeze and he’ll bark out three phrases from the film. He is priced around £14.99.

Bolt , featuring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, is due for general release on February 16 and is currently showing in selected UK cinemas in Disney Digital 3D.
