Biscuit and Filo sound like a new detective duo, but in fact they are the latest cuddly creations from Hasbro’s FurReal range.

Biscuit, My Lovin’ Pup (to give him his full name) is a life-size Golden Retriever puppy packed with animatronic gadgetry to make him act like a real pup.

Biscuit will follow commands like “sit up and beg” and “give me your paw” and his soft coat just begs to be stroked. Biscuit is priced around £149.99, for children aged five and older.

Biscuit is also available as a free download. He’ll sit on your desktop and keep you amused with his doggie antics. The download works on all PCs and can be found here.

Filo, My Rollover Pup, takes a more leisurely approach to life. All he’s interested in is rolling over and having his tummy scratched. Get it just right and he’ll wriggle around making appreciative puppy noises. He is priced around £39.99, for children aged four and up.
