Toy cars are a perennial favourite and Learning Resources’ new Chunky Vehicles set offers six vehicles in bright, chunky plastic.

Little hands can get to grips with a car, a fire engine, a train, a plane, a bus and a boat, each presented in bold colours. The vehicles are dishwasher-safe so it doesn’t matter if they have a few mishaps during their adventures.

As well as encouraging gross motor skills, the Chunky Vehicles can be used in theme-based lessons. Priced around £15.90, the largest vehicle (the bus) measures 11cm long and 8cm high.
