Dinosaur King toys

4Kids Entertainment has announced a raft of deals to produce Dinosaur King toys throughout Europe.

Vivid Imaginations will handle UK distribution, with the toys made by master toy licensee Playmates Toys. Due to hit the shelves in Spring 2009, the range will include role-play toys and playsets, trading cards, action figures, remote-controlled dinosaurs, spinning tops and mechanised figures.

The popular cartoon (which first aired in the UK on Jetix in March of this year) features Max and his friends, who are on a hunt to track down missing dinosaur cards. The cards can be activated to bring the dinosaurs to life, resulting in spectacular battles.

“We are very excited to be bringing together this powerful line-up of companies to distribute Dinosaur King toys,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier at 4Kids Entertainment International. “Momentum for Dinosaur King is building steadily across Europe and this will help fans to bring their favourite show to life.”
