Rubik’s Cube has been delighting (and baffling) us all for years, and now there’s a new twist on the classic puzzle. Rubik’s Puzzle World, from The Game Factory, is a videogame that takes you inside the heart of a Rubik’s Cube, where many new challenges await.

Available for the Nintendo DS and Wii, the game transports you to a world populated by colourful little “cubies” that can be sorted, stacked and solved. The game promises addictive puzzles and fiendish challenges – you can even compose music and solve the traditional Rubik’s Cube onscreen!

The Wii version can be enjoyed by up to four players, while the DS version allows you to play with others using the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection.

For kids of six and up, Rubik’s Puzzle World is priced around £24.99 for the DS and Wii.
