Don’t stop the cavalry

Schleich has drafted in a whole load of new soldiers for its World of Knights range.

As usual, it’s the incredible attention to detail that makes these toy soldiers stand out (there are even scratches and battle damage on the helmets).

Leading the charge are two mounted warriors, the Knights with Swords. Yellow and Red knights are ready to charge into battle at a price of around £8.40 each.

The cavalry is joined by four foot-soldiers, again split between the Red and Yellow camps.

The Reds get an Archer Kneeling, as well as a Foot-Soldier for Ladder (handy for scaling castle walls).

The Yellows get a Sentry and a Foot-Soldier with Stone, who’s ready to heave a boulder onto some unsuspecting foe (perhaps the poor soul climbing the ladder).

The new foot-soldiers are priced around £3.50 each.

Bringing added detail to the range are the new Stable, Wicker Fence and Well accessories, priced around £14.95, £11.85 and £9.50 respectively.
