Not the usual suspects
If you love Cluedo, but would like to see some new twists to the game, the new updated version, from Hasbro might be just the ticket.
Not only are there new characters, new rooms and new murder weapons, there’s also an exciting new wrinkle to the game play – the murderer can strike again during the game!
“We wanted to bring the game bang up to date,” comments Hasbro’s Craig Wilkins. “The new characters are more in tune with modern society, and with the added touch of a first name, more human. The new rooms and weapons have helped to give the game a much needed face-lift, and with the added risk of players being killed off mid-play we have definitely increased its tempo.”
The new suspects include an A-list starlet, an ex football hero and a videogame designer, all with something to hide, and weaponry now includes a trophy, poison and a dumbbell – with such a choice it would be rude not to murder somebody.
Each character also has a special skill (aside from murdering people), such as the ability to look at other players’ cards or start rumours to cover their tracks.
The new suspects are Kasandra Scarlet, Jacob Green, Jack Mustard, Diane White, Victor Plum and Eleanor Peacock and the game is priced around £14.99, for sleuths of nine years and older.
