Where’s the catch?

If your kids love ball games, here’s something new to try – a game in which the ball itself is in control. Hasbro’s Cosmic Catch is an update on the traditional game of catch. Each player gets a colour-coded wrist tag, which they use to ‘check in’ with the ball before starting the game. The ball then calls out colours in random order and the player with the ball has to throw to the person wearing that coloured tag.

Drop the ball, throw to the wrong player, or throw too slowly, and you’re out! There are four games programmed in and Cosmic Catch is recommended for kids of seven and up. It can be enjoyed by up to six players and is priced around £24.99.
