Feel better with Playmobil
At the heart of Playmobil’s new Hospital theme is this seriously large hospital, measuring more than 73cm in length and standing over 39cm high. It includes a reception area, children’s ward, infant ward, operating theatre and a private room.
There’s an elevator that can take patients in beds up to the top floor, five members of staff, a clown to entertain the children and three patients, as well as loads of accessories to add detail and playability. The hospital is priced around £99.99.
Four further sets can be added. There’s a Hospital Room, complete with a cheery looking patient (she must be feeling better) and accessories including a drip, a stereo, and a comfy pair of slippers. The price is around £5.99.
There’s been quite a nasty accident if the Child with Wheelchair (around £3.99) is anything to go by. This poor child has a broken leg, broken arm and a heavily bandaged head, but she remains cheerful in her rather jaunty wheelchair with fish decoration.
All patients need visitors, and you can add three of them in the shape of a father, a child and a baby in a stroller (which has a hinged hood). Perfect for visiting mum in the Hospital Room, the Dad with Stroller set costs around £3.99.
The Paediatrician (around £4.99) is equipped with a stethoscope and is looking after a poorly child, who also has a teddy bear to cheer him up. The bed is on wheels and can be easily moved around.
These sets can also tie in with the Rescue range we told you about in March.
