The recent spells of warm weather don’t guarantee a good summer, but with Vivid Imaginations’ new ‘dive-on’ toys you’ll be ready to take advantage of any more sunny days that come our way.

The Slip ’n’ Slide Shark Attack (around £29.99) features a set of Jaws-style gnashers that children have to summon up the courage to slide through. For added excitement, the shark’s mouth automatically opens and closes so you need to time your slide just right. Water sprays from the mouth to make the slide slippery and there’s a padded buffer at the end – if you’re lucky enough to get through in one piece.

The Cannonball Splash Water Slide (around £39.99) comes with an inflatable body board. Get a running start, launch yourself onto the body board and slide down the ramp into the pool at the end.

Great for keeping cool, both of the dive-on toys come with a foot pump (which isn’t quite so great for keeping cool). Buy from Argos and you can add an electric pump for around £19.99.
