You live and learn

Sick_stomachGalt’s Horrible Science line, from Living and Learning, is expanding this year in all sorts of unpleasant directions. Building on the success of last year’s kits, three new bags of horribleness are now in the shops. Sick Stomach, Super Snot and Savage Spiders are priced at around £4.99 each.

Sick Stomach gives you the chance to make your very own vomit! All too often, kids need no help at all with making vomit, but this kit will also educate them as to what exactly is going on when they get an upset tummy.

Super_snot_1Super Snot explores the mysteries of mucous and features a range of smelly experiments. Those with a nose for adventure can see just how explosive a sneeze actually is and those without a nose for adventure needn’t worry – a false nose is included in the kit and you can use it to make a bogie factory (although, again, kids often need no help there).

Savage_spiders_1Finally, Savage Spiders isn’t exactly horrible, but anyone who is afraid of spiders will no doubt find it creepy in the extreme. We can just about bring ourselves to look at the packaging, which reveals that the kit lets you spin a silky web to catch flies and is full of ‘fascinating’ facts about those little eight-legged freaks.
