Meet the aliens

Ben10_omnitrix_1There’s no hotter toy property at the moment than Ben 10, and Bandai’s new range of toys captures the excitement of the hit Cartoon Network show, which follows the adventures of Ben Tennyson. Ben is just like any other 10-year-old boy until he discovers an extraterrestrial watch – the Omnitrix. Ben can now transform himself into alien superheroes using the alien DNA stored inside the Omnitrix.

Ben10_omnitrix_slides_1At the top of everyone’s shopping list at the moment is the Omnitrix Alien Viewer (around £6), which comes with three viewing discs, each showing Ben transforming into an alien. The Omnitrix includes a built-in storage compartment for holding the discs. The watch is also a great role-play toy, of course, and is suitable for children of four and up.

Choose from Heatblast, Fourarms, Greymatter, Stinkfly, Wildmutt, Ghostfreak, Diamondhead, XLR8 and Ripjaws. Each 10cm figure also comes with a collector’s card and costs around £4.
